Special Projects Update #1

On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, the Session of Peachtree unanimously approved the Renovation of the Fellowship Hall to commence on February 20, 2023.

• Fellowship Hall – Construction
• St. Andrews Room – Construction
• Noah’s Park – Construction
• Room 2303 – Storage Space
• Room 2303 – Parking Lot Spaces — February 20
  • Approximately 21 parking spots in the Northwest Corner of the Back 40 will be used for Construction Vehicles.  This will be a fenced-in area.  It will be gated on two sides. We may have the ability to use the area for through traffic and parking on Sundays.
  • The 3 Parking Spaces adjacent to the covered playground will be occupied with a construction dumpster.  The 2 angled spaces across the driveway will be blocked M-F for access to empty the dumpster.

1. Each worker will wear a specific numbered construction vest.  This is twofold:
   • A worker can be identified by his/her numbered vest.
   • On construction sites, there are often folks who will pretend to be workers to gain access to a building.  If there is a worker on campus who is not wearing a numbered vest, please contact security.
2. Workers will park in the Back 40 in the gated area.
3. The entrance for the construction workers will be the stairwell between the GA Power Room and the Columbarium.  This entrance will be marked “Construction Entrance Only.”
4. Workers will be on campus as early as 6:00 am.
5. Port-a-John will be set up outside for the workers
