As we come to the finalization of the RTP project, we are grateful for the skill/talent our project partners have brought to the table. Lord Aeck Sargent (architect), Cushman & Wakefield (Proj Mfgt), TurnerBoone (furnishings), and Gay Construction Company (Contractor) have all performed with excellence in completing the project on time and on budget. By the end of this month, all phases (including the mechanical infrastructure work) will be completed.

As we have “lived” in our renovated spaces over the last few months, we have come to realize that some enhancements/tweaks need to be made for the long-term benefit of our operations. And we know that it’s prudent to accomplish these changes by extending the work of our contractors NOW, for a few more months.

Here are the changes we’re planning to make: 

• • Tweak the size and location of the screens in the Sanctuary and make projector/camera enhancements. Although the AV capabilities are much improved through the work already done, a few more changes will be made to further enhance the worship experience in the Sanctuary.
  • Modify and expand the Senior Pastor office suite. We will expand the office to incorporate the area between the office and the conference room. The Admin work area will be modified and relocated outside the conference room door and enhanced to coordinate with the Senior Pastor’s office, providing a more welcoming reception area for guests.
  • Undergo a much-needed exterior paint/repair of most, if not all, of the main campus building. There is a lot of scaffolding/lift work to be done, best undertaken by our contractor team.

While our contractors remain mobilized, it makes logistical and financial sense to complete this work now. We intend for most, if not all, of this work, scheduled to commence very soon, to be completed by mid-May.
