Upcoming Main Hallway Closure – March 25th

Beginning March 25th, the Main hallway will be under renovation beginning just past the St. Andrews Room until Stair 12.  The Williams Center will be open to access the North Side of Campus from the Lodge.

This week in the bulletin the congregation will be notified about the upcoming Main Hallway Closure to begin on Monday, March 25th.  Below is the information as it will appear in the Bulletin and on the RenewingThePromise.com website.

From March 25-April 30, our 2nd floor “Main Street” hallway from the Saint Andrews Room to the Gym will be closed, as we will be connecting corridors to the hallway, painting, and installing new carpet.

To travel to and from the Gym, please utilize the back stairwell of the Fellowship Hall as an alternate route to The Connector. The Williams Center stairs and elevator will remain accessible.

You can also access the Gym by exiting the Williams Center and utilizing the sidewalk in front of the church on Roswell Road.

The Peachtree Hospitality Team is available to answer any questions about Main Campus access.

During the week, staff will need to walk outside to commute between the North and South Side of Campus (Fellowship Hall/Williams Center and the Gym).

• Walk behind the building using the Pedestrian Walkway OR
• Utilize the Roswell Road sidewalk in front of the church. 

Please remember to carry your Badge to gain entrance to the rear to the building in the rear.  Both the 1st Floor Gym Elevator Entrance and Stair 12 Next to the Print Shop have Card Access available to staff.

Additional Closure – April 1-5

The plans to close an additional part of the Main Street Corridor to have been confirmed.

From Monday, April 1 – Friday, April 5, the Main Hallway will be closed from the St. Andrews Room to the Gym Bridge Doors.

 STAIR 12 will not access the 2nd or 3rd  floors during Monday-Friday of that week.

 Access to the Gym Building from the rear will be through the 1st Floor Gym Elevator Entrance.  

IT Equipment Transition – Saturday, March 30th

On Saturday morning, March 30th, Onyx and the GCC team will be relocating the Peachtree  Church server to the new server room. 

During the move,
1) We will experience a Campus-Wide Internet Outage

2) We will be unable to access files on the Server.

The team believes things will go smoothly and this disruption will not last into the afternoon.
