Special Projects Update #14

As the new school year and new routines begin, normalcy will begin to return to campus.  

By Friday, access to the main hallway on the 2nd floor will be restored.  You will be able to pass from the Family Commons to the Gym Building using the main hallway.  As before, there will be no access off the main hallway between the St. Andrew’s Room and Stairwell 12.   

Note:  There is temporary carpet installed between the St. Andrew’s Room and Stairwell 12.  Please do not fret at the change of carpet. When the Office package is finished, the main hallway will have continuous carpet through that section.  

In addition, by Friday, you will be able to go up the Williams Center Stair from the Atrium to the 2nd Floor to gain access to the 2nd Floor Main Hallway.

The “Connector,” rear pedestrian walkway, will remain in place through the duration of the Sunday School tower work. 

Elevators Across Campus

• The Double Elevators will remain offline until the end of May 2024. 

• The Williams Center Elevator will only serve the 1st and 2nd floors.  No access is available to the Sanctuary. 

• The Gym Building Elevator, the Lodge Interior Elevator, and the Family Commons Elevators will remain open serving their various floors.

Construction – What’s Next

Friday, August 4

Main Hallway on the 2nd floor is scheduled to be reopened.

Friday, September 1

Gay Construction will turn over the Fellowship Hall to the Church.  Beginning at this time, our Communications team will begin staging the Fellowship Hall for worship to commence in the space at the end of September.
