Special Projects Update #13

Today, Camp Peaches concluded its summer camps and campers have returned from Rutledge.  As we are approaching a lull in activities at the church, Gay Construction will be utilizing this time to work on corridors and hallways that lead into the Fellowship Hall and St. Andrew’s Rooms.   

Beginning Monday, access to the main hallway on the 2nd floor will be closed between the Family Commons and Stairwell 12.  In addition, there will be no access to the Williams Center.  Please see below for closed hallways on the second floor.   

While the 2nd floor main hallway is closed, please use “The Connector” to walk from the North Side to the South Side of the main campus. “The Connector” is a designated pedestrian walkway at the rear of the main campus. 

If coming from the Lodge to main campus, please utilize the Passage and use the 1st floor exit outside of the Atrium (outside of the Tool Time Room, now the River).  There will be a covered walkway from the exit of the Atrium to the entrance of the Family Commons.   

Please continue to communicate with the groups and communities you work with as to the changes around campus. 

Construction – What’s Next

Monday, June 26

• Main Hallway on the 2nd Floor is Closed from Family Commons to Stairwell 12. 
• The Williams Center will not be accessible. 

Sunday, August 6

• Main Hallway on the 2nd Floor is scheduled to be reopened.
